Summary: Diamond Arm Lab collects throwing workload data and basic account information to operate the Service. We do not sell your data. We do not share player data with third parties for marketing. Children under 13 require a parent or guardian account. You can request deletion of your data at any time.

1. Who We Are

Diamond Arm Lab is a web application operated by Major League Activation LLC, a Washington State limited liability company. Our Service helps youth baseball and softball athletes, parents, and coaches track throwing workloads and manage arm care using Acute:Chronic Workload Ratio (ACWR) methodology.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

• Name and email address

• Password (hashed — we never store plain-text passwords)

• Account type (parent or coach)

• Phone number (if SMS reminders are enabled)

Player Information

• Player name and age/grade level

• Position and team (optional)

• Throwing activity logs (date, pitch count, throw type, intensity)

• Soreness and fatigue self-reports

• Strength training logs

Usage Data

• Pages visited within the app

• Features used and session duration

• Device type and browser (for compatibility purposes)

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details.

We select providers that maintain appropriate data security standards. We do not authorize these providers to use your data for their own marketing.

5. SMS Messaging and Phone Numbers

If you enable SMS reminders, we collect your phone number and use it solely to send throw day reminders through Twilio.

• Your phone number is never sold or shared for marketing

• SMS opt-in is voluntary and separate from account registration

• Opt out at any time by replying STOP or disabling SMS in app settings

• For players under 13, reminders go to the parent or guardian's phone only

6. Children Under 13 (COPPA)

Important: Diamond Arm Lab is designed to track data for youth athletes, including children under 13. We comply with COPPA.

We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create independent accounts. All accounts tracking players under 13 must be created and managed by a verifiable parent or legal guardian.

What we collect for players under 13: Throwing logs, exercise data, and limited profile information entered by the parent account.

What we do not do: We do not collect contact information from players under 13, send SMS to players under 13, or use player data for advertising.

Parental rights: Parents may at any time review, correct, or delete their child's data by contacting matt@diamondarmlab.com. We will respond within 5 business days.

7. Data Security

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit

• Hashed password storage

• Restricted access to production data

• Secure third-party payment processing via Stripe

No system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact matt@diamondarmlab.com immediately.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account and player data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel:

• Active data is retained for 30 days in case you wish to reactivate

• After 30 days, personal data is deleted from our active systems

• Aggregated, anonymized usage data may be retained for service improvement

• Payment records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by law

You may request immediate deletion at any time by contacting matt@diamondarmlab.com.

9. Your Rights and Choices

• Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you

• Correction: Update inaccurate information through account settings or by contacting us

• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data

• SMS opt-out: Reply STOP to any SMS or disable reminders in app settings

• Email opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time

Washington State residents may have additional rights under Washington privacy law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice in the app.
